What is TDS?

TDS stands for total dissolved solids and represents the total concentration of dissolved substances in water.

How do I know what’s in my water?

If you receive water from a municipal water supplier, then you can review your local “Consumer Confidence Report” (CRC) to learn what is in your water. Each year, public water suppliers are required to provided a CRC. If you are on a private well, you can send sample of the water to a certified laboratory to do water analysis.

Which type of water treatment product should I purchase?

Once you know what is in your water, then you can better determine what you want to remove. This is accomplished with your water analysis. Why I need to use water pump for the RO system?

The required inlet pressure of the RO system is 1-3 bar. If you use raw water tank, there is no pressure of the water tank. So raw water pump is needed for the RO system.
