FIFA Quality Field for the Veneto Club in Australia

CCGrass, the world’s leading artificial grass manufacturer, is dedicated to providing the best artificial turf for both sports and landscape purposes. CCGrass has become FIFA Preferred Provider since 2013 and now has over 300 FIFA certified fields worldwide. We provide solutions for football played at every level and all ages. Different turfs are designed for full size fields, training areas and mini-football pitches.

Recently, the CCGrass artificial turf field for the Veneto Club in Australia tested to the FIFA standards and obtained FIFA Quality certification.

The Veneto Club is an Italian social club in Bulleen, Victoria, Australia. The site includes extensive grounds and playing fields including the David Barro Stadium, home of Victorian Premier League, tier 2 football (soccer) club FC Bulleen Lions. The Veneto Club has also been the venue for the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) team the Bulleen Boomers since 1984.

The Veneto Club project is supported by the State Government through the North East Link Project. The new FIFA Quality pitch opens up a wide range of benefits for our clients and the local community as they now have a top-tier facility they can use for 60+ hours a week enabling many grades of footballers the opportunity to showcase their skills on a daily basis.

Tuff Group, our long-term partner in Australia, takes charge of this project. They have extensive experience in the construction and installation of artificial turf. With the experienced and dedicated paving team, Tuff Group delivered an elite synthetic pitch for Veneto Club under multiple challenges. The FIFA Quality certification is a high affirmation of CCGrass football turf and field installation.

CCGrass product VmaxTM series is chosen for this field. VmaxTM combines 2 great yarns together. Through the resilient V shape monofilament, excellent ball roll is achieved, whilst the split, fibrillated yarn, hold the infill in place, to offer great performance characteristics. The combined yarns are densely tufted and show exceptional wear, over 150,000 cycles on the Lisport tester, remaining upright for longer than other turf systems.

We’re delighted that the newly certified pitch will contribute to the Veneto Club and the local community, and wish the club all the best in the future.
